What is outreach in a public library?
Outreach in a public library means existing outside the brick-and-mortar branches to help all residents have access to all the services and resources that Perry County Public Library offers. Our outreach services utilizes our Bookmobile, which provides materials for assisted living facilities, day-care centers and other members of our community who may be underserved and unable to avail themselves of our “brick and mortar” location. Using the Bookmobile we also offer services to our public schools, providing students with additional resources not available at their school libraries. Learn more about the Bookmobile by visiting this page.
Perry County Public Library is also available for off-site programming, speaking engagements, school visits, and similar programs. Want a library representative at your school or business, let us know!
