The Perry County Public Library makes available the Larry Beatty Room and two study rooms at our Tell City location, as well as the meeting room at our Cannelton location, to support library programs and functions and for the use of organizations engaged in educational, cultural, intellectual, civic, or charitable activities. Library programs will take precedence over room use by other organizations. The Library provides meeting areas, free of charge, on an equitable basis, regardless of the beliefs or affiliations of groups requesting their use. Use of a meeting room does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, support, or co-sponsorship by the Library, and organizations should not imply that the event is in any way sponsored by the Library.
Booking a Meeting Room
To reserve a meeting or study room, call our Tell City location at 812-547-2661 or our Cannelton location at 812-547-6028. You must be 18 years or older to book the reservation.
To accommodate as many groups as possible, the rooms may not be reserved more than six months in advance. Library programs will take precedence over the activities of outside groups. The Library reserves the right to cancel, with due notice, an outside group’s reservation for the Library’s own use of the meeting room. Meetings of a purely social nature are excluded.
