Who We Are
The Friends of the Perry County Public Library is a member-supported, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Tell City, Cannelton, and Bookmobile branches of the Perry County Public Library system.
We work in partnership with volunteers and community allies to enhance library services, expand access, and foster lifelong learning.
Our Beliefs
We believe that stronger libraries create stronger communities.
Libraries are vital institutions that provide free and equal access to information, technology, and educational resources. They are inclusive spaces that promote opportunity, innovation, and connection for all.
What We Do
π Fundraising & Advocacy
We lead impactful community campaigns to raise essential funds for:
- Books, DVDs, and digital resources
- Furniture and library equipment
- Technology and accessibility tools
π Program Support
We fund and sponsor diverse, enriching programs for all ages:
- Author visits and book signings
- Cultural events and community gatherings
- Childrenβs and adult programming that inspires and educates
π Community Engagement
We cultivate a network of library champions through:
- Membership opportunities
- Volunteer involvement
- Seasonal book sales and events
