Grave Superstitions: What Our Ancestors Believed

October 22 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Free

Join us with speaker Joy Neighbors for this interesting presentation! Superstitions are beliefs we hold without any truth or rational basis. They exist in all aspects of life, love, luck, and death. They are passed on from person to person, generation to generation. We call them old wives’ tales, folklore, or prophecies. But our ancestors believed they could foretell or foreshadow coming events. In this presentation we’ll explore some superstitions, folklore, and omens of death. Along with the warnings they portend.
